The atmosphere of your tasting is at your discretion and may be directed as casually or as formally as you prefer. The goal of The Wine Loft is to provide an experience for you and your guests, that is memorable and exactly to your taste.
Your guests will be directed through a tasting by an industry professional, typically a direct representative of the wines, when possible; and given pertinent information regarding the selections. There will be ample time to discuss and ask questions related to wine selections. In addition to this open forum, and at your request, you and your guests may be provided with tasting notes, pairing suggestions, other similar wine recommendations.
In a four bottle variety tasting thirty minutes of arrival and reception are customary. Then at the top of every 30 minutes a new wine is introduced, tasted and discussed. The final hour of the event is open forum for socializing.
The food selection items will be placed and displayed for you and your guests with some items being passed (based on a la carte’ selections) during the event. Although not recommended, if when coordinating your event, you should choose to have all items passed an additional labor charge will be added to the balance to supplement the additional staff requested.
